The Black Velvet Folk Band is

The Black Velvet Folkband was formed in June 1995.
We play Irish/Scottish folk music, country & western and contemporary music. Ideal pub band.
We also  arrange sing-along sessions and bring along songsheets to encourage audience participation.
In 1996 we made the cd "May Morning". Together with good music the CD cover contains all the words for the songs. It is a high quality recording from Terje Refsness "Sound Suite" studio in Sandnes.
We are based in Stavanger, Norway.
